Sexual Harassment Laws and Prevention Training Requirements in the US and Canada

US federal law encourages all employers covered by Title VII to provide sexual harassment prevention training to both managers and employees in order to prevent harassment, but also to serve as a defense in cases of sexual harassment claims. Likewise, at the federal level, Canadian employees and applicants are protected from harassment in the workplace.
