SAI Global, a leading provider of integrated risk management solutions, today announces the opening of a new office in the Netherlands. The opening comes as the company looks to strengthen its regional presence in a bid to help Dutch organizations and institutions keep pace with rapidly evolving regulatory legislative and reporting requirements and gain control over their risk landscape.

With increased scrutiny by regulators, like their European and global counterparts, Dutch institutions and organizations are facing many strategic and organizational challenges and demands. With burgeoning regulations such as the impending GDPR, the recently implemented MIFID II, and next year's Securities Financing Transaction Regulation, firms are having to focus on the adequacy of the structures they have in place to cope with the growing volume and complexity of regulatory change.

The new office, SAI Global's 17th in the EMEA region, is being led by Business Development Manager Sebe Gerritsen under the direction of Van Straten. Gerritsen leads a team dedicated to supporting relationships, allowing for the company to better serve and more efficiently handle its clients within the region as well as expanding and opening up its expertise in regulation & compliance, digitalization, and operational excellence to reach large corporations and major business players alike in north-western EMEA. In addition, the Dutch office will facilitate a team of implementation consultants and project managers serving local clients.
